The time has come for all year 9 pupils to start thinking seriously about their future. On Thursday 7th February, Southam College will be hosting a Year 9 subject/options parents’ evening. This is an opportunity for pupils/parents to gain an invaluable insight into each subject at GCSE level. There will be subjects that are familiar to each of you and those that you may need to learn more about before making a decision. The structure of many subjects change at Key Stage 4 compared to Key Stage 3, and therefore it is worthwhile spending time considering your options.
It is very difficult to take responsibility and make mature decisions on your own so let your teachers help. I have devised a short survey that I would like each of you to complete. This information will allow myself and other teachers at Southam College help you make the right choices and prepare you for the future.
Your decision may well change, however it will be interesting to identify what your current plans are.
